Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Airankscan handles when you request a workspace, run a scan, or visit the site—and the choices you have about that information.

Effective July 17, 2026

Information you give us

A workspace request may include your name, work email, company, website, the number of brands or locations you manage, your primary goal, and selected plan.

A visibility scan may include a brand name, website, category, market, competitors, work email, and goals. Your work email is used to enforce reasonable scan limits and is not intentionally included in the analysis sent to OpenAI or the finished report.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information.

How scans use OpenAI and public sources

Airankscan uses the OpenAI API to analyze the scan details you provide and research public web sources. The analysis request can include the brand name, website, category, market, competitors, and business goal. We do not include your work email in the analysis prompt.

OpenAI processes that information to produce the report and may retain API data according to the settings and data controls that apply to the Airankscan account and the API endpoint. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the API customer opts in. You can read OpenAI's current API data controls.

Public-source research can include your site, competitor sites, reviews, directories, articles, comparison pages, and other material available on the open web. A report records evidence available at the time of the scan; public pages can later change or disappear.

How we use information

  • Review workspace requests and recommend an appropriate setup.
  • Run scans, create reports, and provide customer support.
  • Enforce reasonable usage limits and investigate misuse or service errors.
  • Improve Airankscan's workflows, reliability, and report quality using appropriate operational information.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms when necessary.

When information is shared

We use service providers to operate Airankscan. These can include Vercel for hosting, OpenAI for scan analysis and public web research, and—when configured—Resend or a private business webhook to deliver workspace requests to our team.

A configured lead-delivery provider can receive the contact details and request details needed to deliver the message. If no delivery provider is configured, the request form tells you that nothing was submitted and prepares an email you can send yourself.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep request and scan information only as long as reasonably needed for onboarding, service delivery, support, security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. Copies held by a configured provider follow that provider's retention rules and our account settings. OpenAI API retention follows the data controls described above.

Hosting and security systems may retain standard request logs, such as an IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and requested pages. Airankscan also uses limited request data to enforce scan limits. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be retained when legally required.

Airankscan is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it.
